I'll chip in and echo these sentiments. All criticisms aside, this is one amazing site! Thanks to all who keep it running.

It really makes you think when you ponder if this site, with all the shows, files, information, reviews, etc for 36,596 individual concerts by 2,014 bands. If all of that just didn't exist. poof. do you realize how hard that would be for the entire taping / trading world? If tomorrow we all had to go back to FTP's and B&P's.. Sure, torrents would be run and help out distribution, but torrents are a 'strike while the iron is hot' and fade out / die off and are non-existant after x days/months. They are not a 'library' like this is, where you can go at any time, any day, for years / decades into the future and anywhere in the world grab a live show for free at a very fast download speed and listen to that show. If this didn't exist it would be a totally different world indeed, especially for a lot of the smaller bands that have been able to get noticed / taped because of the archive.org project. If this was all gone tomorrow, I don't know what we'd do!

that being said, I appreciate it being here and all it has given a lot of small local artists. I look forward to the LMA being here for decades to come.

Absolutely. This site is wonderful, and has given me great joy. The amount of Kimock here alone, in various incarnations, is mind boggling and is going to take me years to get through (yeah!).

I also enjoy being able to go to shows of bands I've discovered here (TLG, New Monsoon, etc..) and be able to give back to them, in some small way, after what they have given me through this site.

Thanks LMA, and a HUGE thanks to the bands that allow their recordings to be posted here.
